If your pump's in good shape, it may surprise you as to what it can lift. If it won't lift the unit, a larger diameter cylinder may be the answer. The SAE 30 oil won't hurt the cylinder, but you won't want to mix it with the hydraulic fluid you're using in the other tractors. I'd suggest changing the SAE 30 for Hy-Tran to solve that problem, but sometimes the old lift-all units won't develop full pressure on that stuff if they're beginning to wear a little. Another solution would be to have a cylinder and hose that stayed with that tractor.
