oil leak/super c

I haven't rebuilt this or anything...have only had it since spring and have been giving it a good paint job and fixing any problems I find as I go along...at the bottom of the tractor behind the clutch access hole there is another hole. It is diectly at the bottom. What is the function of this hole? I noticed a small amount of leakage coming from here. anyone know what it could be? no worry? tractor runs great, starts great.
