Hey gents, Did the changes to my wireing that was recomend and nothing. Took off the alt and took it to have it tested. It was fine, put it back on and the dummy light went out and the amp gauge showed a healthy charge rate. Must have had a bad connection to my alt somewhere but all works fine now. The rear light had paint on the clamp and was not getting a good ground now it works. The front lights are the sealed beam style. Cleaned off the paint from the clamps and light bar still no light. Checked with my meter and when I can find a good ground like the neg batt cable I have power at the lights but can't seem to get a ground on the light bar no matter how shiney I make it. I thought the little grounding tab on the back of the sealed beam lights would be enough to get a ground but do you think I will need to run a ground wire and attatch it to the grounding tab on the light? Thanks for your help guys and I hope my qestions are not to dumb. Have delt with tear drop lights and the past and when I had a good clean spot to mount them had no trouble with grounding.Wow didn't start out to have such a long post.
