Most SAs have 8" rims with 9.5 x 24 tires. I think the 7" rim was standard on Cub. What you are doing will work fine on hard ground. SA will be quite heavy and make marks on soft ground. With 9.5 tires SA is probably one of the heaviest ground bearing tractors going in pounds per square inch. This is precisely why the SA has such good traction.
