hold the glows plugs in for at least 60 seconds and while starting it...the meter shows if they are working...the 560 had a good engine...just had head gashet probs...we had one with 10,000 hrs and put 3 gaskets in it..the best way to test the T a is to put in reverse and step hard on brakes.. moving it both ways..to see if works...good luck
