M.P., M,SM,SMTA have similer tin on them. The gauges would be past the gas tank, one on each side of steering shaft. 400 has gauges under steering wheel, w/enclosed steering shaft. If SMTA, you will find a lever on left side of tractor that you engage from a sitting position. Serial number looks like it might be a SMTA. Some more information would be needed for the difference between a M and a SM. Hope this helps you.
