I forgot to tell you one other story I heard from an old painter that liked to drink. This guy painted classic cars and hot rods. His jobs turned out perfect every time. Some of the best work anyone had ever seen. Seems this old painter drank constantly, he could not paint anything unless you had to almost prop him up. He tried sober several times and screwed it up every time. He also swore up and down that he added a little beer or the hard stuff (not to be confused with hardener) to every pot of paint he sprayed. Don’t know if I believed him, but I thought it was kind of humorous. I never tried it. Maybe it would work??? I doubt it.
