Hi Dave, The block is cracked severely on the outside, almost from front of the block to back, underneath intake and exhaust manifold. We have not tore into it yet, just trying to get as much info. as possible so we will know which way to go. Will the blocks interchange if we have to go that route? From what I can tell, the 140 block has a plate bolted over the location where the water pump would be located on the earlier 100's, 130's, etc. Is the head different only, or also the block. Thanks for the response!
