I would suspect you have problems - our 460, and none of our other tractors with the sprag type TA do have that noise. But as for exactly WHAT your problem is, I cannot say. I would guess that it is in the planetary or sun gears of the TA - needle bearings going out maybe? If your sprag quits and you have a "bad" TA, then it seems to make a high-pitched whining sound and not move at all. Maybe someone else has some sort of experience with your symptoms...
