All oil in the Rear end, Trans, is the same. A heavy Gear oil will work, Though in my Farmall H's I use straight Hydrulic fluid, its thinner and gets to the bearigns better and keeps them cleaner. I've drained the Rear end in several H's and I always get about 10 Gal.'s of oil..and some water. Best way to prevent water from getting in your rear end is by siliconing all the bolts that hold down the platform where the seat is. Hope this helps you out some.
