I hooked up my new fancy lights on my I-544. I took it out to the field and it was getting dark so I turned them on to help me see what I was working on. I looked back after a minuit and one light was dim and the other out. I walked back to the tractor and the new wiring I put in was glowing orange. This is never a good thing. I shut of the switch and all the wiring was shot. What happoned was the new wiring I put in got cruhsed between the clutch pedal and the frame of the tractor. I had a direct short. Needless to say I will be much more careful in the future. Watch that wiring!
