Roaring bearing in rear of 806

My 806D has a loud roar or whine when in road gear. Not very noticeable in slower gears. Sounds to be coming from one side around the axle area. Is this a bearing? How long should I let it go before tearing into it? I need this tractor to plow soon for winter wheat. Thanks.
