yes, its like farmall Don said, there is two deals on the side of the pan. You unscrew them a little and see if oil comes out there. I ussually just make sure the oil level is above the bottom one but it may be that it is suppose to be up to the top one but the way I figure it, if it comes out the top one there really isn't anyway to tell if it is over filled. I think between the two is safe. I use to use non-detergent oil in my H but am using 10-30 detergent quaker state now. I still use non-detergent in my F-20 though becuase of the dipper rod bearings which an H don't have. An H has the holes drilled in the cranke shaft for oil ports which the oil pump, pumps oil to the crankshaft bearings. My two cents worth.
