Several places on the H the modern oil seals are half the thickness of the originals. Since there's plenty of room for two of the new ones and they are (relative to most parts)cheap, a lot of times peaple will put two. I know I did on the brake shafts and the bottom of the sector housing. Couldn't hurt, might help make up for the worn places in the shaft. Modern grease is better,too. If they'd had it back then they wouldn't have used 90wt in the sector housing.
