Some 560s probably were produced without TA, it was an option in those days. I have seen tractors in the 300-350 years without TA. I have also seen a few 06 and 56 series without TA. TA has not enjoyed the best reputation, most of it generated by people who never used one and in fact knew very little about them. It is not surprising that some were ordered without. If engineers at IH had been smart TA wouldn't have been introduced until free wheeling was gone.
