Murray , get the spark plugs out and get penetrating oil down the cylinders. With the tractor in gear, rock it back and forth this will allow piston movement without pushing the piston all the way through its cycle in a rust an corroded cylinder wall. By moving back and forth the piston will clear its own way through the cycle a bit at a time. Some suggest jacking the rear wheels off of the ground and rocking a rear wheel back and forth. Be patient it may take days but keep the penetrating fluids in the cylinders. Many people on this line recommend a product called PB Blaster which is supposedly a good penetrant...don't bother with WD40. I always figure a siezed engine is better than one so loose there is no chance but a rebuild. If you are lucky it may break loose ...the down side is pulling the head and dropping the caps on the bottom end and pounding the pistons out but that's a story for THE RED to tell you about. Hopefully you will be able to take the easy route.Keep us informed on the forum and good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario

Cylinders are the reason for the hydraulic circuit. They take the fluid power delivered from the pump and magically change it into mechanical power. There are many types of cylinders that one might run across on a farm scenario. Each one could take a chapter in
