Kellie, I have no remedy but read this. yesterday I bought a B250 that hadn't run in eight years. We got it started and after it ran for a while I thought I would move it ahead..clutch went in, put it in gear , let out the clutch and began moving...when I went to stop I pushed down on the clutch and nothing happened..almost went through the end of the shed...the clutch finally did engage..scared me big time..someone suggested a few drops of oil on the spline but not too much as to get it on the clutch plate. Try tapping on the clutch shaft with a hammer to jar it. Good luck from Mike in Exeter Ontario
