You will be ok doing it one side at a time, but if you do both sides at once, the only thing holding the tractor together will be your radiator hoses. I figure that if you can't see it to paint it, then you won't be able to tell there isn't any paint on it, so why bother? But maybe you like to have things more perfect than I do, so whatever you feel like.
