For breaking loose pistons, we use Iron Etch, made by Martin Senour, that we buy at NAPA. It's a bluish color acid solution. If you take off the head and find which piston(s) is stuck, clean up the top of the piston and pour some of the Iron Etch into the cylinder. Let it sit overnight, then next day try pounding down the piston with a block of wood against it. You could also have someone help by trying to turn the flywheel in the right direction with a bar. We've freed up several tractor and gas engine pistons with this method, and it works every time. I don't have the patience to let something soak in oil for months before I can work on it. You'll need to take the piston out and hone the cylinder afterword, since the Iron Etch will roughen the surface of the cylinder. It's more trouble to take the head off to break it loose, but it's the best way to do it without screwing up the crank, clutch, etc.

How can I explain the sensation and exhilaration I feel when I turn the key and hear the engine come to life (most
