LanceM is right. I'd like to add that you might want to check the head for flatness; if it has a little warping, a machine shop can mill the head flat, giving you a really good seal when it is reinstalled.

That series of engines tends to leak in that area over time. The lifter gallery is on that side of the engine, and as a result the head gasket is in contact with a lot of oil. The gasket eventually becomes oil-soaked and starts to leak. My Farmall 100 is doing the same thing. It'll get a new gasket this winter after the head gets pulled and rebuilt.
