There is one worse than that. A few narrow front tractors were not drilled anywhere for wide front. My dad bought a new H around 51-52, front bolster was not drilled and threaded for wide front. My dad had bought tractor with both front ends, narrow was on tractor at delivery. Dealer fixed this problem, I imagion IH payed. At time dealer said it was not the only H that way. Some were probably never noticed.
