On August 20 in a small town here in SW Ontario there was a Bank Robery. Now I would have thought bank roberies would be passe, what with electronic money and surveilance. My thoughts are it would be a task for only the feeble minded. But it happened, in the town of Ilderton. I have been driving through Ilderton most mornings and evenings for the past few weeks. The only thing I noticed out of the ordinary on morning of August 20th was a guy driving into town on a fully restored Massey Harris, I think a 44. You see at same time Bank Robery was in progress, a group of antique tractor enthuiests were lining up at the Ilderton Fair grounds for a tractor ride through rural Middlesex County, as a promotional exercise for Middlesex Rural Expo 2002. Destination was Glencoe site of the 2002 International Plowing Match, Sept. 17 to 22. This will probably be host to the largest antique farm equipment show in Canada this year. Of course there are plowing competitions for modern, antique and horses. SO ONE AND ALL COME TO GLENCOE SEPT.17 to 22 You guys south of border remember it is 50 cent dollars up here. I am relatively new to area, but think it is safe to say we will have our Robery experts rounded up.

Originally the company was called the Cleveland Motor Plow Company which began in 1912, then the Cleveland Tractor Company (1917) and finally Cletrac.
