Was reading some of the comments on this post. Cadplans does have some good plans, I was going to build my own using their plans but ran onto a 4020 Deere with a 48 Deere loader on it. I was estimating that it would run somewhere in the $1500.00 range to build one, the cylinders would run around 500 and I know the steel wouldn't run but between 300 and 500. Rest would be for hoses and fittings. I do think it would be fun to build one and although you want to get it as exact as possible there is a little room for error, granted not much but some. You can for sure build one cheaper than the 3000.00 mentioned and can also build it around your tractor so you know it will fit. NorthernTool.com is a good place to go too look for cylinders as well. Hope this helps!
