Gents, I picked up a pair of 5 inch combo Guide Lights for a real good price. Only problem is, I need to re-paint the red on the inside of the lens. Switches work just fine, wiring in good shape, but the previous owner had sandblasted (lightly) the inside back of the 5 inch bulbs. Do I need to polish out the little window so the lights will show red? Do I need to polish the whole bulb? Do I paint the whole back or should I mask off the little window? Is there a correct paint to use for this? Why am I here? (LOL!). Sorry about all the questions, but I'm from over at the Ford N board and Guide lights didn't exactly come stock on a '41 9N. Cops told me I need red lights on the rear along with my work lights, and I don't want to look like a christmas tree going down the road! Thanks for your help! Mikey
