Bob Melville's Alternator Article Very Helpful

Last week I used Bob Melville's article on converting to 12V alternator system. I rewired a botched-up 10-SI alternator conversion on a JD 720LP. I wanted to let others know that it was very helpful and the system works great with the idiot light feature. I even used a light socket and bulb from Radio Shack as he mentions.

I know this is not the JD forum, but Bob posts mostly on this site so he is more likely to see it. I don't own a Farmall yet, but I've got my eye on a rough 300LP that may very well be my next restoration project. You can bet I'll be posting questions here when I bring it home and start tearing into it. Thanks again Bob M and everyone else!
