Was resealing my 806 diesel pump shaft last night and when taking the nut off the front of the shaft, dropped the washer down in front of the timing gear. Called the Tractor Vet and he suggests dropping the sump pan so I am tonight. Has anyone else ever done this and if so where did you find that washer? I bet I aint the only one this happened to. It is in a tight and oily place. Fished with a wire way into the night with no luck finding it. If not in the crank pan......off with the front cover....but I need to plow NOW!!!! if it werent for bad luck.......
