Tim: You were lucky it broke free that easy. I'll agree to more thin oil on those piston rings. They gotta have rust on them and there has to be the place on the cylinder where they were rusted to that needs more rust removal. The gas isn't as good long term as it was in the past. I'd dump the gas in the tank and flush tank and gas line to the carb. Drain plug on the bottom of the carb?. Use it. Fresh gas. New oil and filter. Radiator OK?? Fan belts look ok? Hydraulic unit full? Clutch not stuck? Battery level full and charged? The RED likes to pull top rocker cover and lube all valves. Your call there. WATCH OIL pressure right away after startup. Check compression after running awhile if your interested. Probably will be OK if it broke free that easy. Good luck. G.
