Don't know of any repair info, but thought I would give you an idea. I got a pump also on a junker. My pump is an aftermarket add on. Real late models (like maybe a 39) may of had factory pumps. I am not sure on that. The one I got is simply mounted between clutch and transmission. Looks pretty easy to me to install and take off. If I had one like that I would install it and see how it worked first before I overhauled it. Just my 2 cents worth. I also got an aftermarket road gear that mounts on the front of the transmission. These two components (pump and road gear) I am sure, can't both be mounted. Atleast the ones I got.
