If you'll take note where my first post went in the thread, I was answering Don's inquiry about what a 276 is, and provided a pic as he requested. I wasn't answering the main question because I don't have an exact answer for that, but you jumped in, opposed what I said, and provided a bunch of wrong answers. I corrected you, to defend my position, and for the sake of proper information for anyone else who was or is reading. (I could have went on to say that the 276 was actually a little less in some ways than the B-275, but I didn't want to be that picky; the B-275 & B-414 had full instrumentation, but 276 & 434 only had warning lights for oil pressure & low charge condition. Full instrumentation reappeared on the later 354 & 444. One thing the 276 did have over the B-275 was key electric(solenoid) starting.) I don't have the years or serial numbers for the 276, and so I wasn't answering that question. IH didn't record SN's or even production totals for most of the imported B-Series tractors. Tractor values for different models varies throughout North America, so I didn't provide an answer to that, either, as what a 276 is worth in my locale may be considerably more or less than what one is worth in another. $4000 would be average here, where 276's--and the better-known 434's--are prevalent, but that's no indication of what it'd be worth elsewhere, and especially where it might be considered an orphan. I offered what I do know where I could when the need arose. Relax, will ya? Sheesh... BTW, there's a B-275 Gas right next door... >;-}
