Mark, I have a super c that had 8 quarts of oil in it also. After inquiring around I find out that it is supposed to be the hydraulic pump mounted below the distributor that is the culprit. I checked with a parts man and he told me it would be either an o-ring or a bushing (depending on the pump) where the line comes into the pump and is not hard to fix. I would suggest you talk to a parts man, he should be able to help you.
