Couple of other things easy to check: Make sure the vent in the cap on your gas tank is clear. If mostly plugged, you could be pulling a vacuum on the tank and cutting off your fuel flow. Checking the fuel lines for good flow is also a good idea. A far-out possibility (which turned out to be the problem on my 300U) - the main jet on the carb. may be loose. The bozo who rebuilt the carb. before I bought the tractor left the packing around the adjustment screw out, and it would work its way closed after running for a while. Most likely the coil is the problem like the other guys suggested, but it's not the only possibility.
