Shade of Red?Front Wheel Bearings

Im planning on starting the re-restoration of my 39 F-14.It has an older restoration now thats showing it signs of age.I like the red thats on there now but think it would look better maybe say two shades darker than the case/ih paint thats on it now.Maybe like a bright light maroon color,hard to describe the exact color!What do you guys think?
Second thing is are the front wheel bearing for the steel wheels the same as the bearings for the solid hub duals fronts with rubber tires?The bearings I put in my steel wheels,which I have taken off and used a single front until I get the tires and rims for my duals,are still in good shape and cant see replacing if I dont need to.The races are still good in the front hubs I have.
