Not rare at all. But finding a factory IH wide front in good condition can be a good find. These can bring over $750 just for the front end. Most were broken and welded at some point or another.

Wide front ends are common here in wheat country and where there are steep hills on the hay ground. Not many narrow fronts around North Dakota as not too many row crops back then.
