I had them wrong before but thought I fixed it. Looking towards the radiator and the #1 cylinder, the #1 wire is at about 1 or 2 o'clock on the distributor. It turns clockwise so the last cylinder in the firing order is at about 10 o'clock on the distributor cap. I used the firing order as cast in the block. Does that sound right?
