Hey Mike,this is awful familiar ain't it?Ted,if you need to remove the mag to replace the condenser you may want to do the points at the same time.It's easier to do on the bench than the tractor.Then,follow the timing proceedure in your shop manual to time it.Mike can probably help you time your tractor if needed.Have fun!BTW,make sure your impulse coupling is OK.Crank the tractor slowly and you should hear it trip.If not,it is not working and without it,you will not get a spark at cranking speed.
