Stage II Super H's made a GREAT Mowing tractor didn't they? Actually 2nd, 3rd & 4th were all faster than the Non-Supers. 1st & 5th were the only ones to stay the same. Dad had a '47 M with the M&W 9-speed and He put the TSC Fast 4th gear set in His '51 M.... which inlcuded the faster 2nd & 3rd as well if I remember right. The IHC set only changed 4th gear.... and the lo-low gear the gear was so small on the driven shaft it's machined right on the shaft. WHOLE bunch of special requirements about front wheel weights & stuff for using it....
