Only 1950 -- Farmall Letter Series Tractors by Guy Fay has some info. No complete books, if you have a large bookstore nearby, there are several other books on Farmalls, you might find some pictures and a paragraph or two. Most of these tractors were repainted red by the dealer before sale, or perhaps after, if the farmer did not like the color. I have one, repainted red at least twice. I have it stripped to bare metal, and am going to paint it red. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I don't like white. Saw one advertised for $10000 once -- no way they are worth that much. There is a place where you can get more info. www.rlantis.com, email richard@rlantis.com. He is a former International dealer and quite knowlegeable about all Farmall tractors.

On closer examination (and some reading in a AC D-14 service manual), I found out that this is a pretty ingenious method of cleaning the air in the tractor's intake tract.
