Redfan: Well, they may have made it different over there but here most all RIMS were galvanized with NO paint. The cast iron "wheel" was painted red including bolts etc. If I'am wrong, I'll be corrected pronto. The only colors I remember seeing back then was RED and more RED with only bare galvanized rims on all Farmalls. Seems like they had red paint on everything. Carb, gen and wires etc.except black radiator core. G.
