That really pained me to see them do that to that nice old tractor. I'm not an IHC expert by any stretch, but arent that model with the single front wheel kinda rare? I don't recall ever seeing one at a tractor show. What a shame to dismember the poor old gal. Other than the front wheel, it looks just like a picture i have of a 46 A model. What was it exactly? And I didn't buy the decision to narrow the spools- they claimed it woudl be more tippy that way- I don't think that is a given, but what traction! They could have used outriggers for stability. I often wonder whether the 2 teams are forced/coerced into doing radically different designs. It always seems to work out that way. If the tractor team had gone with a barrel based floatation system, they could have done well. I still like the show- one of the few that my Tivo grabs every week. I do miss Kathy Rogers, however- a true junkyard babe. And that Tyler guy is an idiot. I like the british fellow in the early shows.
