you can still remove the universal joint even with the road gear box in place, i would think, if so then the back half of the bell housing can be removed. the tool box will have to come off first then the clutch pedal connection then the rest of the bolts that hold the back half of the bell housing on, you may need to drive a screwdriver blade in the edge to get the back started off. after all that you will be able to see the clutch pressure plate. remove one of the bolts that hold the pressure plate on (you may need to use some good penetrating oil on all the bolts)and stop the removal at that point to go and get a tap the same size as the bolt you just removed. you will need the tap to clean the threads in the three threaded holes in the pressure plate that are used to hold the pressure plate in it's housing. you will see the holes between the fingers on the housing. after you clean those holes, place three of the bolts in those holes and tighten until the springs are tightened down then remove the rest of the bolts and take the pressure plate out, after you get it out remove the three bolts and relax the springs. have a 5 gal. bucket ready with some diesel fuel in the bottom just enough to cover the pressure plate and let it set a day or two then take it out and pressure wash it and dry with air and spray with p b blaster. there are three big slotted nuts that need to be free enough to adjust, if not, then you will need to take the pressure plate apart further, that will involve removing the pins that have the cotter keys in them. after the pins are removed the i bolt slotted nuts will drop out and you can put them in a vise and use heat if you have to tap and die those threads so they will be easy to adjust when you reinstall them. do not use heat around the springs! e-mail me if you need more details. the f-20 clutch is a good clutch that is easy to use and maintian if it is adjusted properly

When Push Comes to Shove - by Dave Patterson. When I was a “kid” (still am to a deree) about two I guess, my parents couldn’t find me one day. They were horrified (we lived by the railroad), my mother thought the worst: "He’s been run over by a train, he’s gone forever!" Where did they find me? Perched up on the seat of the tractor. I’d probably plowed about 3000 acres (in my head anyway) by the time they found me. This is where my love for tractors started and has only gotten worse in my tender 50 yrs on this “green planet”. I’m par
