I've got a Heisler Hand clutch on my M. To tighten mine, there is a spring loaded pin located behind the clutch cover plate. If you pull out on the spring loaded pin, you can rotate the clutch assembly itself. You will need to rotate the clutch assembly clockwise (I think)to make your clutch tighter. You can test your hand linkage while you are adjusting it to make sure that you don't get it too tight. I turned my clutch one full turn 360 degrees to tighten it down. I needed someone else to pull the pin out with a pair of needlenose pliers while I turned the cast iron clutch web with a pry bar. What you actually will be doing it adjusting the amount of end play in your hand clutch by threading the pressure plate closer to the clutch pads. The pin that you pull out is there to keep the clutch from backing off and becoming loose. When you are done adjusting the clutch, make sure that the pin falls back into a hole to keep the clutch web from reversing. This sounds very confusing I know....If you need clarification, please ask. I hope this helps you out a little.
