Hi Steve, I had a problem with this 2 years ago on a C I was working on.After many e-mails back and forth with Bob M I use the push pull swith just to complete the circut to the alt and a key switch to kill the mag. The wierd thing is I have to turn the switch to the right to ground the mag and staight up to run. I couldn't find a key switch that would ground the mag when straigh up position. Hope this helps you.
