I just had the trans cover off my B I can't remember how many bolts 10 maybe. The cover should come fairly easy. It only has 3 forks and 1 is off to the side for reverse.Once you look inside its pretty easy theirs not much in there.Ive beat the snot out of A's and B's as a kid and never hurt yet. good luck.
