I had a 450 that i worked on had the gasket bad in between the reservoir and the steering column. The way we found it was to pull out the vent pipe and put air pressure in the reservoir. I used a regulator and started out with about 10lb's pressure. And then I looked for a leak in the suction side of the lines.
