Lee, hopefully you'll get some replies from some more experienced painters. I'm experimenting with hardener on my A restoration. This is for a work tractor, so I'm not going to strip and re-paint anything, just learn as I go. I've heard using 1/2 pint, 3/4 pint or 1 pint per gallon of enamel paint. Perhaps different types/brands of paint require different amounts; I'm sure that there are different types of hardeners that must be used per the paint manufacturers instructions. Good luck, Bill
