The H will handle a square baler with no problem, however the live PTO sure makes it nice. Easy to get spoiled to those type things. I have baled many bales with a McCormick #45 pto baler on a C baling approx 70 acres/yr, and you just get used to making smaller windrows and taking it slow. I also got real good at clutching and pulling into neutral in a heavy spot. I'd say if you do not have that many acres to do it would not justify buying an additional tractor just to bale.
