I have a IH 140 that I use once a month to knock down an old pasture. I bought a Hardee 60" Bush Hog at a farm sale for the purpose. It was a three point hitch and I welded up a one point hitch for it to fit my 140 fast hitch. The rear lift doesn't have any problem lifting this bush hog. It is a heavy duty cutter, probably rated to 60hp. The 140's hp is a little short of what is needed. You'll have to cut in first gear and take half cutting width's in thick grass. In thin sparse places, second gear and full cuts are easy. I have used it in thin brush once and it did ok with 1/4" to 1/2" oaks, vines, brairs, etc. I'd be afraid to put it on 1" stuff. Make sure you get the coupler that fits between your pto shaft and the bush hog drive shaft that is an over ride device. I can't think of the correct name, but it keeps the momentum of the bush hog blades from pushing the tractor forward when you engage the clutch. This is important when you try to stop just short of that big tree or ditch while bush hogging.

If i said that this was a little frustrating for him that would be "conservative" in fact the problem had reduce
