Need Fast Hitch Cylinder Rebuild Info

Tonight I isolated my fast hitch cylinder and determined that it has an internal leak. The Case/IH dealer offers a rebuild kit for $45 (3-1/2 x 8 cylinder, as far as I can tell). I've heard that it is not a difficult procedure; how hard is it to rebuild? Does the IH Hydra-Touch Service Manual describe a cylinder rebuild? Thanks for your help.
