If you are going from a MM to a Farmall, You are gonna want to go over on the HP for plowing and disking. THe differences in functionality I was referring to is the live PTO on the Farmalls vs clutch driven on MM, and mainly maneuverability. The MM, to me anyway, seem like they hook to the ground and pull better than the IH BUT....the IH will maneuver circles around the MM. In NO way am I bashing either, I love them both. My blood is a mixture of IH Red and Prairie Gold. But when I have a big field to plow with just the corners to plow in, or mole board for terraces, MM pulls my plow. When I wanna shred, bail, cut hay, feed round bails, box blade, IH gets the nod. The IH is the most versatile of the models I own but like I said, they both do exactly what they were meant to do. The later MM's were really catching up with the industry on maneuverability, then....they sold to White and spiraled out of production. But for the record, they NEVER trailed the industry of any color on pulling. If you wanna see guys whine, drive up to a tractor pull with a MM on your trailer.

He owned a small sawmill for sawing "baccer" sticks. The Super A was the powerplant. When I was old enough (7 or 8), I would get up early and be dressed to
