I have no experience with the Cubs, but the best method I've heard of for removing broken head bolts is to weld a flat washer to the bolt, and then weld a nut to the washer (easier to weld a nut to a washer than it is to weld the nut directly to the broken bolt). Unfortunatly, this only works if part of the broken bolt is sticking up above the surface of the block. Let the welds get good and cool before you try to turn the bolts out. The expansion and contraction of the heating and cooling will help loosen them.
